This is Zippy. He is a Campbell's Russian Dwarf Hamster. Zippy was a rescue from a family with many oops litters of hamsters on their hands. He loves running on his wheel and will gladly take treats from you. He is somewhat shy with human contact but only a few months and very trainable, he needs some special TLC. Zippy is on a high protein, low/no sugar diet because this breed of hamster is prone to Diabetes and it is better for him to be on a good diet. Can you see him peeking his little dead out of the hidey house in the second pic? =)
